Today is Ryans 35th Birthday! Mia, Kate and I are so blessed to have Ryan in our lives! He has been nothing but wonderful during this entire pregnancy. I am truly blessed to have him as my husband. I think he had a good day. I asked Ryan what he wanted for his birthday dinner and he just started listing foods that sounded good to him I guess because we had an interesting assortment tonight. On the menu for the birthday dinner: Little smokies, cornbread and twice baked potatoes :) This pregnant momma was pretty happy with his choice. I also picked up Sprinkles cupcakes for dessert....YUMMY!
Making his wish!!
Mia got a cupcake too!
She enjoyed her treat very much!
If you havent heard by now, we have named our sweet baby girl. Her name is going to be....Kate Elizabeth. We were trying to choose between Kate and another name for a while and we just both kept going back to Kate. The meaning of Kate is pure or blessed. We also liked it because its an Irish name and that brings together both McGinnis and Kelly. Elizabeth we liked because it is biblical (she was the mother of John the Baptist) and because it has been used on my side of the family as well as Ryans. Elizabeth means My God is my Vow. We are excited and we just feel like this is the perfect name for our sweet girl.
We have registered for Kate and have all her fun things picked out!! We are going to go soon to pick out the paint color and start getting her room ready!
A couple of weeks ago, we had a little get together and I got to hang out with some girls that I have known a long time. They all brought their kiddos and we had a great dinner. 3 of us are expecting girls so it was fun to talk with them and catch up.
All 3 girls are due in March!! Cant wait to have all the girls meet :)
Lyla, Griffin, Peyton, Bryce and Pierson....so stinking cute! I dont know that Bryce was so sure about holding a baby...
This past month we have celebrated our 2 year anniversary, Thanksgiving and Ryans Birthday. We have a had a very busy but very fun November! These next few weeks are packed with all kinds of things; Christmas' with families, birthdays (Im turning the big 3-0), get togethers with friends, and we have our 3D/4D sonogram this month! We are excited to see Kate again and to see what she will look like!! Here is the latest pic of my growing belly. (25 weeks)--only 15 more to go!
Mia wanted in the picture as well.
There will be more pictures to come in the next month or so! Sending hugs!!
